Gadhinglaj United Football Association's Dr. Ghali trophy football tournament-2012

Gadhinglaj :  Recently, 7Th edition of Dr. Ghali
School league football tournament  finished successfully  at Gadhnglaj. Total 25  teams including 500 upcoming footballers from age group of U-14 & U-17 were participated in the same tournament.

Since Nov.2011 the tournament has been going on. On every Saturday & Sunday matches took place . Such type of continuity in School level league tournament is noteworthy and doesn’t look anywhere in the country, especially at rural place like Gadhinglaj.

In final of U- 17 group,  Gahinglaj Highschool defeated Sadhana High school on Tie breaker 4-3. In full time score was 0-0. In tie-breaker Gadhinglaj High schoo’sl Goalkeeper  Akashay Savant saved two penalty strokes  & become the man of the match . In U-14 tournament Sou. V.D.Shinde High school beat Gijwane high school by only one goal.  Sourbh Jadhav scored the winning goal.

The prize distribution ceremony was held at the same field of play.

For this prize distribution cermonay,  Gadhinglaj Nagarpalika, Mayor Manjusha Kadam, Vice Mayor Ramdas Kurade, Counciller  Kaveri Chougle, Sunil Chougale were present.

Gadhinglaj United’s Vice Presdient Suresh Kolkai and Chief Organise Deepak Kuppannvar played vital role for the success of this tournament.

Kole,I league Player Shakil Patel, Suresh Havaldar, Santosh Nilkanth
were present.
For this tournament  Amit Savant, Nikhil Khanna, Yogesh Dhamone,
Mahesh Sutar were worked as refree. Umesh Devgoda, Sandip Kamble,
Yashwant Salvi,Sidrath Krambekar, Suraj teli are the volunteers for
this tournament.

Veerdhawal Vikas Jadhav

Nagpur 28th 2012 : KUFA’s footballer Veerdhawal Vikas Jadhav is  selected for Under 14- Maharashtra STATE Football Team for SUB-JUNIOR NATIONAL Football Championship to be held in Jharkhad from tommarrow.  Veerdhawal is a defender and previously 3 times he represented Maharashtra state Football Team .

He also played for YAMAHA International Trophy in Kolkata.

Western India Football Association (W.I.F.A), Mumbai has conducted selection trials for the same team at Nagpur. Kolhapur Sports Association (KSA) sent 5 boys from Kolhapur for the trials. Shri Arun Satham was the selector in Kolhapur for KSA.

In Nagpur, Veeru is got selected for the final Maharastra State Football Team. his coach & mentor Amardeep Kundale (President, KUFA) congratulated Veerdhawal and his family for this achievement.

27 coaches enrolled their name and are undergoing the course under the guidance of AIFF’s Instructor, Shri.Arshad Hussian ( Former Coach of Mumbai F C)  and Shri. Kundan Chanda ( ( Ex- Player of  Indian Services).

Nagpur 13th Jan. 2012 : Kolhapur United Football Association (KUFA)’s footballer Kum. Shreyas Yashwant More is selected for MAHARASHTRA’s State Football Team of Under- 17 for the  Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy Junior National Football Tournamnet-2012. The 42nd Junior National Football Tournamnet  is going to be held in Sirigudi ( W.Bangal) and Cuttak (Odisha) during 18th to 29th January 2012.

Shreyas More alias Sheru has been playing at ‘Left wing Back’ position. He is selected through KUFA TALENT HUNT-2007 and has been undergoing advanced football training since 2nd  May 2007 from the  various Coaches of KUFA. KUFA’s President and Head Coach Amardeep Kundale and Vice- President and Coach Rajendra Sangar has been guiding Shreyas since last 5 years. Also, other officials namely Ajay Pawar (secretary), Abhijeet Chougule, Ravindra Patil, Ajay Harugale, Aditya Ingrole , Sagar Kandekar, Dhairyasheel Nalawade (Manager) and Physiotherapist Dr.Juned Bagwan have encouraged Shreyas regularly.

Previously, he has selected and represented School Maharashtra State Football Tournament-2009 and 2010. Maharashtra team will face tough cmpetition during group stage as their matches will be against Meghalaya (on 18th jan.), Bangal (2oth Jan.) and Punjab ( 22nd Jan.). In this state level tournament total 32 teams from Maharashtra participated. Gadhinglaj beat Usamanabad, Last year 3rd rank holder Ahamahadnagers Shivjians, Punes Irons club. In Semi final Gadhinglaj soccer lost to Pune DSK Shivajians by 0-1.

In third rank match the Academy lost 0-1 again to Indrayani Club, Pune. Gadhinglaj team wonn Rs. 21000/- & Goal keeper Prashant Daddikar was declared Best player award of Rs. 2000/- & trophy.

This is the fourth achivement of Gadhinglaj team this season. Previously they won Belgaum 2 (Karnataka) All India Football Tournaments, Runners-up of Kedari Redekar All India tournament ( Gadhinglaj). Maharashtra State deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, Mayour Yogesh Bhael honoured the winning teams.

State deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar congratulated the Gadhinglaj team for performing excellently in this tournament. He Was proud of the Gadhinglaj F.A who are working from the rural grassroots level to develop football in Maharashtra.

Gadhinglaj 31st oct. 2011 : Gadhinglaj United Football Association along with Kedari Redekar Foundation organising All India Football Tournament in Gadhinglaj since 1st November 2011 at the M. R. High School Football Ground, gadhinglaj.

The Diwali season is encashed by Gadhinglaj Football lovers since last many years. They have been conducting the same football Tournamnet in every Diwali Vacation since last 7 years.
